Faculty Training

ANGEL Learning is the Learning Management System (LMS) that is used at Union County College for all online and blended learning courses.

The Distance Education (DE) department offers numerous ANGEL training sessions. These sessions are held in a computer lab to provide hands-on experience working with the ANGEL features.

Required Training for Faculty

All instructors who want to use the ANGEL LMS are required to take Basic Training which consists of a four (4) hour face-to-face training in a computer lab. Following certification, a faculty member may request an individual design consultation to begin building a master course.

Faculty members will not be permitted to teach using the ANGEL LMS until they have successfully completed the Basic Training and are certified by the DE department.

Basic Training Schedule

Basic Training will be held annually in October and June. The next training will be held in June 2010.  Participants will be enrolled on a first-come first-served basis. Register early to avoid disappointment.

Please note, participants must attend all Basic Training sessions scheduled for each section.
