Course Request Course Backup Course Restore

WebCT Course Request/Creation Policy

  1. All online course sections and blended learning course sections will have WebCT courses created automatically six weeks prior to the start of the term in which they are being offered, unless an earlier request is received. 

    Content from a previous WebCT course offering can be copied to new WebCT courses using WebCT Course Backup and WebCT Course Restore functions.  (Please contact the DE office if you need a blank course shell to view data in a saved course.) 

    Blended Learning instructors not planning to use WebCT for their course offering should contact the DE office directly through email or phone (908-497-4364) to request the removal of the WebCT course.

     
  2. All requests for WebCT courses to be used in traditional, face-to-face course sections must submit the WebCT Course Request form no later than 4 weeks prior to the start of the semester. 
    (All requests received during business hours will be processed the same day.  All requests received after business hours will be processed the next business day.)
