WebCT Student Enrollment Policy

  • All students registered for online courses, blended learning (formerly Campus Web) courses, and web-enhanced courses will initially be uploaded to their WebCT classrooms beginning three (3) days prior to the start of the semester. 

  • Uploads will be performed, once daily. 
    Students registering for courses after the daily upload will be added to the course on the next business day.

  • Uploads of full class lists will continue until the day after the last day of registration. 
    (Summer Semesters and Winter Session final uploads will be done on the first business day after final registration.) 
    Students registering after these dates can be added individually to the course list by notifying DE.    

  • Student access to WebCT courses will be removed 3 weeks after the last day for grade submission.
    Accommodations can be made to retain or restore student access to specific courses after the 3 week time line for special circumstances (such as incompletes) by contacting DE via
    email or phone.  (908-497-4364)


WebCT “Dummy” Student Accounts

It is recommended that all instructors make use of a dummy student account to access the student view of a course and verify the availability of WebCT course content and the functionality of WebCT tools.
