It is a requirement that a faculty member
be trained by DE in order to
use WebCT at Union County College. This
requirement may be waved if the faculty member has
used WebCT successfully at another institution and
can demonstrate the use of the program to the
Distance Education Department.
Due to the implementation of the ANGEL Learning
Management System in the Spring of 2009, WebCT
training is now discontinued. Only faculty who
have taught previously at UCC may teach in the
upcoming Fall and Winter sessions using WebCT.
WebCT will no longer be used after the Winter 2008
session ends in January 2009.
Use Requirement for Spring 2009 and Beyond
Faculty who anticipate teaching an online or blended
learning course at UCC beginning with the Spring
2009 semester must satisfactorily complete the ANGEL Basic Training
to be held in October.
