Our Wish

a drop of a lucky penny
into the wishing well
as that lucky penny fell
lets us make our wish

and this shall be our wish
you and me living in perfect harmony
together always forever
until the end of time

as the sunrise over a misty beach
a new day is dawning
and our wish will be reaching
for the highest star

so please remember
in a world full of temptation
just being together
will be our inspiration

we may become a litter older
as years pass
and just a litter bolder
but our wish shall always last

and this shall be our wish
you and me living in perfect harmony
together always forever
our wish is a wish of forever love....

And the People

and the people will choose
for the right of being free
just hear the news
freedom is not only a dream

and the people will follow
that flicker of light
until that light grows
we must never lose sight

and the people will sing and dance
to the songs of the patriotism
they will show the world their stance
against any type of barbarism

and the people shall make it work
to show the world their hope
the people will make its mark
the people must make it work!

the people will choose

people all over the world will always look for that

What children really want out life

I wake up in the morning all alone
crying for someone to hear my voice
trying to forget feeling hungry
just hoping for a life of another choice

breaking the law for the so-call good life
stealing hustling - that is what I have learn
living in the jungles of the nightlife
dreaming for another type of life  - I yearn

ice-cream, cookies, and staying up late on Saturday night
that what us kids really want out of life

Flying bullets
jumping over minefields
living in a battlefield
just trying to be brave and strong
is this life of mine - so wrong

family members, always fighting
not knowing how I should act
so I just have to go with the flow
always looking for the next tomorrow

Throughout the years, we had so many special moments
now that you are leaving us
we wish you the best of luck
to your new opportunity of life

When life starts running overtime
you should never have any fear
you can always come to UCC to have a beer

You can always count on your friends for your support
never sell yourself short, be who you are
and always reach for that highest star

If life ever become cold
remember, remember back
just let your memories behold
to get you on track

Happy Birthday to a Special Teenager!!

a poem for a special teenager, on your birthday
you are starting the teenage years
let all shout hooray
you are becoming a pioneer

yes you are becoming a pioneer
in the teenage years
there will be times of searching
times of some tears and lots of cheers

you can always count on family/friends for support
never, but never sell yourself short
be who you are
and always reach for the highest star

you will become a little older
and if you make mistakes
just become a litter bolder
life is learning, so have some pancakes
and you will be given some wisdom

teenage years are not easy at times
peer pressure will be always around
when you are feeling that you are running overtime
slow down, let your values of your parents make you shine

they will be many old and new friends
also some teenage dancing
and some boyfriends
and some teenage romancing

now what I'm trying to say is that you are -
  too young to make major decisions
  too old to go on kiddies rides
  too young to drive across country
  too old for sesame street
  too young for college
  too old for baby books

there will be -
  major disappointments/accomplishments
  major planning for the future/finding who you are
  major studying
  major romance/dating
  major parties
  major dad
  major mom
  major family
  and  most of all, major talking on the telephone

in summary -
  a poem for a special teenager on your birthday 
  Yes, you are becoming a pioneer
  you can always count on family/friends for support
  you will become a little older
  teenage years are not easy at times
  they will be many old and new friends

Please remember,

A song overdue
for great parents like you

today is more than an ordinary day
its a day to renew your love
a love of two soul mates
celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary

who live as one

Autumn

Remember the summer haze 
summer love
I used to gaze 
into your hazel eyes
stormy eyes, sunny eyes
we thought the summer could never say good-by
but it did

Remember back
back to the wine and Roses
to the fun times
the way we use to make each other smile
our love song goes a mile

Now that summer departed
And Autumn has arrive
when that old north wind starts blowing
I get a sway feeling
feeling of changes
can those changes ever be heeled?
Questions,
questions of you and me
questions of changes
the once met strangers
in those hot summer nights
Our love was as high as a kite
at its highest heights
But the kite fell at the first sight of Autumn
do you remember that strange love
and if you do, do you remember that fun-loving times
oh, those fun-loving times seem so timeless.

BETTY BOOP TYPE OF DAY

Children eating their ice-cream
Adults kicking off there shoes
Always looking to daydream
Can this give you any clues
    You might call it a Betty Boop type of day.

Taking a boat ride around the bay
Looking to share good times with a friend
There is no need to feel gray
Because the good times will never end
    Only because its a Betty Boop type of day.

Saying good by to all my yesterdays
There must not be any more sorrow
We must live for today
And always look for tomorrow
    But its still a Betty Boop type of day.

People rushing around everyday
Running overtime
Always looking for that cabaret
and sometimes -
    What they need is a Betty Boop type of day.

looking outside my window
and see all the rain
coming down to the ground
thinking of a sunny day
